Luke ‘Ming' Flanagan for ICSA Meeting Tonight
The Louth branch of the Irish Cattle and Sheep Farmers Association host MEP Luke ‘Ming’ Flanagan tonight in a meeting at the Hunterstown Inn.
The Independent politician will be among a host of guests to speak to local farmers about a variety of issues at the meet which will take place in Hunterstown at 7.30pm tonight (Friday).
Flanaghan will speak on the topic of CAP (common agricultural policy) reform, as well as other issues affecing agriculture. Also in attendance on the night will be agronomist Dr Ricard Hackett who will talk on the subject of tillage and ICSA Rural Development Chairman Seamus Sherlock will hold a discussion on farm debt.
Finally, Malcolm Thompson – of Donegal ICSA – will be on hand to talk the impacts of Brexit on the farming community south of the border.
“We have many important issues to discuss on the night and I look forward to meeting with as many local farmers as possible,” Louth ICSA chairman Gavin Carberry said. All farmers are welcome to attend the meeting.
